Since 2012, Ghirardelli has served the County of San Diego delivering construction management, inspection, SWPPP plan review and inspection, constructability assessment, cost estimation, project scheduling, and contract administration. Ghirardelli ensures all work is constructed to Caltrans, APWA Greenbook, Regional Standard Specifications, and/or County specifications, providing quality assurance of contractor’s work, monitoring the contractor through daily inspections, preparing daily diaries, photo documentation, contract administration, quantity calculation sheets and records project progress with daily reports and weekly update meetings.

County-Wide Asphalt Overlay FY 2020-2021: Projects involved road reviews and recommendations, photo documentation, ADA ramps and minor concrete, dig-outs, sub grade stabilization, leveling, mill and inlay, grind and overlay, HMA, WMA, RHMA, PMAC, asphalt dike, asphalt flumes, striping, thermoplastic, raised pavement markers, recessed pavement markers, rumble strips, traffic signs, traffic signal detection loops, video detection cameras, signalized crosswalks, survey monument and manhole adjustment / replacement, SWPPP inspection and reporting.

County-Wide Asphalt Overlay FY 2019-2020 / 2017-2018 / 2015-2016 / 2013- 2014 / 2012-2013: Projects involved the rehabilitation of existing roadways, mill and grind, minor concrete improvements (cross gutters), overlay, striping and rumble strips, removal and replacement, rehabilitating the existing roadways, dig-outs, rubberized asphalt concrete, asphalt dike rehabilitation and replacement, PMRE Scrub Seal, RPMS Type III & II slurry, survey monument and manhole adjustment/replacement, traffic control, traffic signal loop replacement and SWPPP inspection and reporting.
