We’re hiring! Program and Construction Management firm proudly providing service in 8 locations across California.

We enjoyed a great day on the course at the APWA Shasta Cascade Branch Annual Golf Tournament, held on October 2 at The Links at Rolling Hills in Corning! ⛳️

Our team included Associates Darcy Taylor and Elizabeth Raynal, joined by Amando Castro of Crawford and Associates and Joshua Pack of Colusa County. We were also happy to support the tournament as a Hole Sponsor.

The tournament helps support the APWA Shasta Cascade Branch and CWEA Kirt Brooks Scholarships, providing valuable opportunities for students pursuing careers in the public works. 👏

🚧 Project Update: Admiral Callaghan Bridge – City of Vallejo 🚧

Construction at the Admiral Callaghan Bridge is progressing toward its target completion, aligning with the anticipated opening of the adjacent Costco Gas Station. 👏

A major milestone was reached Tuesday, September 8, with the placement of the bridge deck. Ghirardelli and the construction management team worked throughout the holiday weekend to ensure all rebar inspections, grades, and approvals were completed and in place ahead of the pour.

On Tuesday morning, the contractor placed the fiber-reinforced concrete to construct the bridge deck. The concrete was pumped into place, vibrated to eliminate air entrapment, floated, and finished with longitudinal tining.

As the deck cures and reaches its specified psi strength, crews are forming the sidewalk, median, and barrier while tying rebar in preparation for the next major concrete pour.

We look forward to seeing this project continue to take shape as construction advances toward completion. 🙌

🤠🌟 A Great Week at APWA PWX Houston! 🌟🤠

Our team had a fantastic time at APWA PWX 2026 in Houston, Texas, from August 30 through September 2! The conference provided plenty of opportunities to learn, connect, and have fun. 🎉

From an inspirational opening session and educational sessions to exploring the expo floor and talking with vendors, our team made the most of the week. We also enjoyed some line dancing at the Get Acquainted Party, connected with clients old and new, and ate plenty of Texas BBQ! 🤠🍖

A special highlight was Ghirardelli’s, Christopher Heylin, P.E., joining PWX TV to highlight the impressive growth of the APWA Sacramento Young Professionals and the impact of its Student and Chapter Mentorship Programs, helping connect the next generation of students and professionals with careers in public works. 👏
