Cleaned out the existing creek and installed a temporary by-pass during construction. Re-grade the creek and installed rocks at the toe-of-slope and constructed rock weirs. New trees and vegetation were planted and a natural erosion control techniques were implemented along the length of the creek. A pathway with block retaining walls was constructed for pedestrian access. During the project Ghirardelli Associates worked closely with the local nature group "Friends of the Five Creek".
