WETA, Oyster Point Ferry Terminal, Pkg 1: Demolition & Dredging
Package 1: Demolition and Dredging. This is the first of several new design–build ferry terminals to be built under the Water Emergency Transit Agency. Project Scope: Demolished and removed two full size docks (400 feet long). Reconstructed 3 end-ties. Dredging across 3 sub-areas is approx. 45,000 cubic yards. Project requires driving 8 pre-stressed piles approximately 58 feet long.

Pier 33 Emergency Repair, Port of San Francisco
Ghirardelli Associates provided inspection services on the emergency repair of soffits and beams underneath Pier 33 for the Port of San Francisco. Over the years, the salt water environment had severely deteriorated portions of the structure and the repair consisted of chipping away bad concrete and installing additional rebar, silica-fume shotcrete and an acrylic elastomeric waterproof coating.

Pier 48, Pier Reconstruction, Port of San Francisco, 2002
Ghirardelli Associates provided a field inspector who was in charge of the reconstruction of Pier 48 that was destroyed by a fire several years ago. The work involved installing new pier members, bents, and decking near the bay, as well as reconstructing structures, walls and roofs, including plumbing, electrical systems and Victorian architecture.
